Diamond Pet Foods began in 1970 with a shared vision. Their founders, brothers-in-law Gary Schell and Richard Kampeter, believed that premium pet food could be produced at an affordable price. Together, they purchased a former milling company in the town of Meta, Missouri, and the Diamond company was born.
